Mission Statement:

"Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth." (Psalm 71 verse 9)

"Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the Lord." (Leviticus 19 verse 32)

The mission of the Seniors Ministry is to demonstrate the church as a focal point for assisting seniors with services, programs and activities for their total well-being in order to support their independence and encourage involvement in and with the church.

 Responsibilities:

A.  To assure that seniors are provided the assistance needed to worship and honour God.

B.  To assure that seniors are protected and treated with dignity and respect.

C.  To utilize the wisdom and experience of seniors to enrich the work of the church.

D.  To provide and coordinate outreach services.

E.  To prevent social isolation by providing hospitality services

F.  To maintain a directory of resources to address the needs of seniors.

G.  To provide stimulating programs, activities and leadership opportunities.
